OH MY GOODNESS this stencil you guys! I don't even know where to start. This was so easy to make and the results are STUNNING! I made this with the new Cloud Edger stencil from A Colorful Life Designs. I needed this in my life and I'm pretty sure you do too.
With a few easy supplies this card came together lickity split. I have been seeing this stencil around and I had to order it right away.
Basically on my Neenah cardstock on a panel sized 4.25 x 5.5 inches I used the new Cloud Edger stencil with a handful of different distress oxides and my new Cotton Tail Blending brushes from from The Rabbit Hole Designs and went to town. I think it's pretty hard to mess this up. You just blend all over using different parts of the stencil all over your panel so that nothing looks too uniform. You might want to keep complimentary colors away from each other so you don't end up with muddy colors but honestly that's about it.
On this panel I used Stormy Sky, Broken China, Fossilized Amber, Worn Lipstick, and Seedless Preserves. I finished it off with a lovely and encouraging sentiment from My Favorite Things from the Anything But Basic Encouragement Stamp set. I cut the panel out with the wonky stitch die also from MFT and popped it up with some foam tape on my A2 size Neenah Card base. I added a few sequins as a final embellishment but that was it! Can you believe it? I just think this is so gorgeous and I'm so happy that I have been seeing it around getting used. I watched a youtube video from Chris Dayton while I was waiting for mine to arrive in the mail and I couldn't wait to get started. I will definitely be batching some cards using this stencil in the future.
I hope you liked this card. Happy crafting friends.

WOW! Absolutely Gorgeous! I am going to try this with what I have on hand, and I am going to hopefully emboss some white snowflakes. You have truly inspired me

Your Sky is the Limit card is absolutely gorgeous. This stencil is very popular and I have only used it to make white clouds but now I am inspired to add some color as you have. What a beautiful card.
